# Art direction — CommUNITY Land Foundation Founding Prospectus

This is the **print-ready art package system**, not AI filler.

ChatGPT (and Grok) supply **editorial + production art direction**.  
Final photographs/maps come from **licensed, commissioned, public-domain, or Foundation-owned** sources only.

## Start here

1. Read `00_VISUAL_POLICY.md`  
2. Copy templates into `spreads/`, `diagrams/`, `maps/`, `engravings/`, `chapter_openers/`  
3. Track every plate in `ASSET_REGISTER.csv`  
4. Place masters under `../assets/photos/` (create as licenses arrive)  
5. Only then embed in HTML/InDesign/PDF for **press**

## Codeina

Autonomous rebuild may **assemble** PDFs and keep placeholders.  
It must **not** invent licensed photos.

## Next human work

1. Buy/commission first 10 priority plates from register  
2. Fill ASSET_REGISTER license IDs  
3. Drop TIFFs into `assets/photos/`  
4. Upgrade publishing CSS to pull real images when path exists
